The Restaurant

OUR STORY

In the heart of Vijayapur, opposite Tipu Sultan Circle, Hotel Everest began its journey in 1976. Founded by Mr. Bashir Ahamed, it started as a modest South Indian eatery, known for its simple yet soulful flavors and heartfelt service. As time passed, a new generation took the reins. In 2000, his sons — Zameer Ahamed, Fazal Ahamed, and Umar Farooq — infused new life into the family legacy. Drawing inspiration from their culinary experiences in Hyderabad and Mumbai, they expanded the menu to include a vibrant mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties, earning love from across the city.

With the restaurant’s growing popularity, the vision grew bigger. In 2020, the original location was closed to make way for something grander — a space designed for families, special occasions, and lovers of authentic Indian cuisine. In 2024, the all-new Hotel Everest opened near Dreamland Theatre, featuring modern interiors, dedicated family dining, mandi-style seating, and party halls, all while preserving the essence of our rich culinary heritage.

Today, Hotel Everest stands as a trusted and cherished name in Vijayapur, continuing its legacy of quality, authenticity, and hospitality — one plate at a time.
